What services do you offer?
Do I have to sign a contract?
There are no contracts with us! You can start, pause, or cancel service at any time by giving us a call or through your customer portal.
What areas do you clean?
We will clean any outdoor areas of your property that have dog waste, including your front, back, and side yards, flower beds, dog runs, etc.
Do you only clean up dog waste?
Yes–while we love all animals and pets–we only clean up dog waste.
Do you clean year-round?
Yes, we clean year-round! In the off-chance that we are unable to scoop due to weather, hazardous conditions, or a major holiday, we will skip that day and pick up all of the waste on your next scheduled service. If you need your yard cleaned prior to your next scheduled service, give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate you, but cannot guarantee it.
Do I need to be home for you to scoop?
We specialize in convenient and hassle-free service, so no, you are not required to be home for us to scoop. We send you a heads up text prior to our arrival and take gate photos after every visit to ensure your property (and pups) are secure prior to leaving.
How do you ensure the safety of my dogs?
The safety of your dogs is one of our top priorities at Westside Scoopers. Not only do we thoroughly disinfect our equipment and shoes with a kennel grade disinfectant after each visit, we also ensure your gate(s) are secured and take gate photos after each visit for your peace of mind.
Can you clean with my dogs in the yard?
We wouldn’t be in this business if we didn’t love dogs! Yes, your dogs can be present while we work, but we kindly ask that you leave your dog(s) inside if they have shown signs of aggression as the safety of our team is one of our top priorities. If your dog exhibits continuous signs of aggression and they are not left inside, we reserve the right to cancel your service.
How much does your service cost?
Pricing is based on yard size, service frequency, and number of dogs, so in order for you to get the most accurate quote possible, use our instant quote tool or give us a call. We have plans as low as $93/month, but most clients pay around $125/month for our most popular weekly service.
How do you dispose of pet waste?
We securely bag the waste and dispose of it in your trash bin as it is unfortunately not compostable.
Can I request a specific recurring cleanup day?
Yes, you can request a specific recurring cleanup day, although not every day may be available as we scoop different areas on different days.
Do you provide arrival windows?
We will send you a heads up text prior to our arrival on your service day, but we do not provide arrival windows in advance. Our service routes are constantly being optimized in order to provide the most efficient service possible.
What is the initial cleanup?
The initial cleanup is our chance to start with a blank slate for your recurring yard cleanup service. It is a longer cleanup that allows us to get to know your yard and its nooks and crannies for wherever dog waste can be hiding. It can also be an opportunity for us to meet you and your dogs!
